About MLRec — Workshop on Machine Learning and Data Mining for Recommender Systems
A recurring scholarly workshop bringing together machine-learning and data-mining researchers advancing recommender systems — calls for papers, topics of interest, programs, and proceedings from each edition.
MLRec — Workshop on Machine Learning and Data Mining for Recommender Systems publishes independent, hands-on reviews and buying guides for ML/DM researchers, PhD students, and industry data scientists who submit papers, serve on program committees, and attend the MLRec workshop co-located with the SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SDM). We buy the products we recommend, test them in real conditions, and rank them on the criteria that matter — not on commission size.
How we test
Every review follows the same process: define the use-cases our readers care about, source competing products, test each against a consistent rubric, and document the trade-offs. When a product wins, we explain exactly who it's right for — and who should skip it.
